Care is at our core

Makanyi foundation is a non-profit organisation that is dedicated to promoting and enhancing the wellbeing of communities in Phalaborwa. These communities are very close to our heart.
Every year, the ripe fruits of the Marula trees are collected by the community and sent to Amarula’s processing plant. We collaborate closely with 8 Chiefdoms in the area, focusing on providing community members with employment during the harvest and at our pulping factory.

Kindness is the key

We improve the lives of these vulnerable communities by donating funds, building schools and clinics, creating boreholes, and planting vegetable and food tunnels.
As long as we exist, we will continue to honour and empower our communities by creating a brighter today and a sustainable tomorrow for them.
